ABOUT AD-LIB ARTS
Ad-Lib Arts (formerly known as Ad-Lib Theatre Arts) is a community theatre arts organisation based in the fair city of Perth, Scotland. The company received charitable status in June 2019, which will mean we can continue to offer affordable classes. Ad-Lib prides itself on our 'ARTS FOR ALL' ethos. We offer classes in the arts to anyone who is interested regardless of age or ability.
Our term time courses offer first class training in Acting,Musical Theatre and Singing for anyone aged from 5 years to senior years.
We run exciting school holiday programmes and exciting outreach initiatives throughout the year at various venues. Since opening in August 2012 we have quickly established a reputation for quality, professionalism, value and above all fun.
Ad-Lib was established by creative director Victoria Rice. Victoria is a professional in her field with over 20 years experience working with different arts organisations across Scotland. Victoria is also lead lecturer of Musical Theatre at Perth College UHI. Victoria trains her own tutors at Ad-Lib to continue to deliver and retain a high quality of tuition.
Vicky Glennie has worked with Victoria as Community Arts Manager for the past 10 years, providing support for shows and classes. She started as an apprentice, fell in love with the job, and continues to work Victoria to promote the benefits of taking part in singing and drama based activities.
Over the years, many of our apprentices and indeed our pupils have gone on to have successful careers in the Arts. We are incredibly proud of their achievements.
